But of course the WTS has been trying to distance themselves from that group for years
One thing that still remains though till this day is their kingdom hall name was derived from the masonic hall of the Freemasons, that's a certainty

Wife went to bed in tears again. Sept KM this time. Her response..
by oompa inok, slowly awakening and fading at the same time for two years now, and did not plan it.
i tell my wife last night i have been having some interesting e-mails with my dad about the qb from the sept km we are to study this week.
she says she has read it, but does not remember it.

There is a profound business structure within the organization particularly in it's earliest beginnings
it is also interesting how over the years they have put a veil over that very structure and instead presented a pure and honest religion
Money and power are always the driving force behind organizations like this ....too bad it's never God.
Perhaps after they realized how much more money they were making, with the intent to keep the tax man away the religious side was brought to the forefront
I always thought it was strange when I was a kid why was God's organization selling so much stuff all the time and when we went to the KH we were taught how to sell it.
Surely there was no publishing company back in biblical times when the preaching work had supposedly started.

Yes Chuckie was one interesting power player for his time but of course he aligned himself with some other power players as well in support like the Freemasons
He would have never progressed as well as he did then today, the clergy then had much more power and respect from the public at large.
If he were to come out today with the same ideologies he would most likely be escorted to a mental institute at a nearby hospital.

The judge to me seems like the biggest asshole of the bunch, this guy was truly a power playing opportunist if there was one !
Picture a fat cat with a cigar in one hand and a glass of whiskey in the other, wearing a tailored suit, driving down a street in a brand new Cadillac which only millionaires could afford
and most of the time escorted by bodyguards caring canes to use as weapons.
And this individual was suppose to be the head of god's only true voice on earth, spiritually guided by his holy spirit.
Thats so laughable whenever I read about this jerk of a human being,
I think if the general public saw for themselves who and what he was maybe they would have second thoughts, I would also guess that he kept himself hidden behind the
curtain for a good reason.

Yes, I think your right Kate, there was allot of pre 1975 propaganda back in those days, the appending Armageddon was due shortly, marketing was in full steam.
Armageddon was always a great commodity for promotion of their literature, not as much today I think because well those self professed prophecies never appeared as an
embarrassment to them, it is still within their doctrines but a little more muted than before.
